Why Information Management matters
Better information.
Built into delivery.
The government’s Information Management Mandate puts structured information at the heart of public-sector delivery.
Set out in the 2021 TIP Roadmap to 2030, Annex B. The Construction Playbook applies to central government departments and arm’s-length bodies on a “comply or explain” basis.
Read the policy and its scope
This is not a blanket legal requirement for every UK project. Using software alone does not establish compliance.

Selecting an example resets manual preparation and setup/review. Aventa processing is fixed to the selected internal illustration.
ONS ASHE 2025 provisional, Table 14.7a. Closest relevant full-time UK occupation groups; ONS does not publish a BIM or Information Management-specific occupation benchmark. Equivalent used: £24.44/hour, calculated from annual pay ÷ 1,950 paid hours. Salary only: excludes employer costs, overheads and profit. Not a client fee.
Where the starting figures come from
Aventa’s September 2026 internal workflow illustration compares specialist preparation with processing for requirements review, assumptions and clarifications, and a comprehensive execution plan first draft, using eight-hour task days. It is an illustrative planning case, not an independently measured customer result. Salary presets use median gross annual pay for full-time UK employee jobs from ONS ASHE 2025 provisional Table 14.7a. They are the closest relevant broad occupation groups, not BIM or Information Management grades. Location, responsibility and sector affect pay. Hourly salary equivalents use 1,950 paid hours/year and are rounded to two decimals. They do not assume every paid hour is billable. Choose the custom option to use your own annual salary.
| Stage | Manual preparation | Aventa processing |
|---|---|---|
| Requirements review | 1–2 days | Around 3 min |
| Assumptions, clarifications + risks | 0.5 day | Included in review above |
| Comprehensive execution plan first draft | 4–6 days | Typically 15 min; up to 30 min in the example |
Selected example: 44–68 manual hours and 18–33 min processing. The calculator starts at the lower manual figure and the upper processing figure. Setup/review defaults are additional adjustable allowances, not measured timings from the deck. Results vary with source volume, complexity, retries and the review needed.

The research surveyed more than 3,900 construction professionals globally. The 30% describes respondents reporting poor-quality data—not the share of all construction data. These are historical, self-reported findings, not measured Aventa results.

Explore licensing optionsWhat is Aventa, and who is it for?
Aventa is Information Management software for the built environment. It bridges the knowledge gap between consultants and clients: helping clients understand what their project needs, and helping consultants deliver through a consistent, connected process.
Do I need specialist knowledge to get started?
No. Aventa provides guidance to help you establish project context, understand the information needed and work towards tailored outputs. You can build your understanding as the work progresses. Guidance supports your decisions; it does not replace professional judgement.
How does Aventa support specialist consultants?
Aventa helps consultants apply their expertise with less repetitive preparation. Project information, context, sources, activities, evidence, findings and outputs stay connected. The process is consistent; the response stays specific to the project.
What should I bring to a walkthrough?
Bring the task you want to improve: reviewing requirements, identifying missing information or preparing a project response. A description of your role and project is enough to start the conversation; you do not need to email confidential project documents.
Is Aventa intended to replace professionals?
No. Aventa is intended to make professionals more effective, not replace them. It supports a consistent process, helps identify gaps and prepares reviewable work. Professionals bring the expertise and remain responsible for checking findings, making decisions and approving the final output. Validation is not certification or contractual acceptance.
How do I get access?
Aventa currently uses invitation-based access. Contact the team to discuss whether an Individual, Team or Enterprise licence is the suitable fit. Public self-service registration is not currently available.
How is Aventa licensing priced?
Individual, Team and Enterprise licences are available, with pricing provided upon request. A written quote confirms users, usage, onboarding, support and the applicable term before you proceed.
